Albert Park winter training – IMPORTANT NOTICE

Important note for the managers, players and parents of the teams that are moving over to Albert Park for training on Tuesdays - the astro-turf pitches are booked from 6pm - NOT 5.30pm as you may have been informed. Thanks. Colin Duff.

Coming soon will be new style individual team pages with slots for photo's, sponsor's logo's, match reports, etc. along with a refreshed homepage to highlight what's going on at the club. Players Wanted

Players are wanted by various Beechfield United Mini-Soccer and Junior Section team's. The U/16s (Timperley and District Junior League) who play on Sunday's are looking to recruit players to strengthen the squad. More informaton from Shane on 07720430364. U13S TORNADOS START WITH A WIN

Beechfield tornados u13s started their season with a fine 5-2 victory over Wythenshawe ams today, The first half saw us play some really good attacking football which was just reward for the work they have been doing in training, goals by Ben Lockett, William Holliday and a Luke Mather hat trick saw us comfortably in 5 nil at half time, wythenshawe also missed a penalty. Pre-Season Activity

In their build-up to the 2010/2011 season Beechfield United's First Team have recently been involved in three Friendly Game's. A stunning performance at home especially in the first half against West Didsbury/Chorlton guaranteed a fully deserved 2-1 win. Luke Mather and Danny Rowcroft got the goals and Mike Leach was voted Man of the Match. Then in midweek United lost 1-0 to Eccles Sunday League outfit Weaste FC. Player of the Match was central defender Tim Taylor. But United quickly returned to winning ways when they produce an awesome display away at Bedians FC a team from the Lancashire and Cheshire League. ...

1st Team Award + Players Wanted

At a recent Manchester Football League club meeting it was announced that Beechfield United's First team were the 2009/2010 Division One Fair Play Winners. United received this award based on last season's excellent disciplinary record. Additional players with adequate ability are needed to strengthen the 1st and 2nd team squad's. All home games are played on Saturday afternoons on the Astoturf Pitch at Salford Sports Village and weekly training sessions are held on the artificial surface on Wednesday evenings from 7pm onwards. U9(10) Hurricanes looking for player

The U9 Hurricanes (U10 from next season) are looking for an experienced outfield player to strengthen the existing team. Players must be going into Year 5 at school in September. If your son/daughter is interested in joining us then please contact the manager, Jay Roche on 07866 677977.

SOCCER FESTIVAL 2010

Beechfield United's three day 2010 Soccer Festival proved to be huge success and was well supported by teams within the Greater Manchester, Lancashire and surrounding areas. Club Secretary Keith Long would like to thank all Club Officials, Volunteers, Parents and Match Referee's who gave up their free time to ensure the Tournament was run in a professional manner. REGISTRATION DAY/30TH ANNIVERSARY MATCH.

Hi folks just a reminder that the registration day and 30th anniversary match is on sunday 1st august, Registration forms have been handed to all managers but can be downloaded from our website if you have not got one, Please make sure all photos are attached to forms and cheques are made payable to Beechfield utd f.c , players previously registered dont require copy birth certificates, only new players.. The 30th anniversary match kicks off at 11am and is between mini soccer managers/coaches and junior managers/coaches,the match is a 9 a side game , please come down and support your managers/coaches.

Please note that players parents and visiting teams should use the Beech Farm car parks off Victoria Road rather than park on Shelley Road – please use postcode M27 9LS for your SAT NAV.

Important announcement - we have had several complaints from the residents on Safflower Ave regarding parking on match days, which has lead them to partition the council and F.A. Can all managers please inform their parents and away teams to park in the designated car parks at moorside and to use the overspill car park behind moorsides clubhouse, They must not park outside residents houses blocking driveways. Thank you.
